Export Brazil Pine is an agent, not a producer. Our role is to connect international buyers with Brazil's finest timber suppliers — companies we have done business with for years and whose quality standards we know and trust intimately.
We are not a commodity broker pushing unknown product. We are a specialist agency with deep roots in the Brazilian timber industry — managing supplier selection, quality inspection, certification, and logistics on behalf of our buyers. That proximity to the source, built over decades of direct supplier relationships, is what sets us apart.
Traceability
Every log, panel, and piece of furniture we export carries a complete chain of custody — from the GPS-mapped plantation or certified extraction area to the port. We believe our buyers have the right to know exactly where their timber comes from.

Export Brazil Pine is founded in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, as a specialist timber agency. Starting with a small but carefully selected network of Brazilian pine suppliers, our founding principle was simple: give international buyers direct, reliable access to Brazil's finest wood products — without unnecessary intermediaries compromising quality or accountability.
The company experiences significant growth, driven primarily by strong demand for solid pine furniture. Building on early relationships with European and North American buyers, we deepen our supplier partnerships across southern Brazil, establishing the foundation of a furniture export operation that would become central to our identity — supplying bedroom collections, dining sets, and bespoke pieces to retailers and hospitality groups worldwide.
Export Brazil Pine expands its product portfolio beyond solid timber and furniture, entering the structural and engineered panel market. Plywood and MDF panels are added alongside a growing range of sub-products including pine mouldings, tongue-and-groove flooring, and interior doors — giving our buyers a single, trusted source for a comprehensive range of Brazilian wood products.
A landmark year: Export Brazil Pine surpasses 15 countries served and consolidates relationships with over 40 partner companies across North America, South America, Europe, Oceania, and the Middle East. Founder and CEO of Export Brazil Pine. Luis Carlos established the company in Porto Alegre in 2004 with a conviction that international buyers deserved direct, reliable access to Brazil's finest wood products — without unnecessary intermediaries. Over two decades, he has built a curated network of trusted Brazilian suppliers spanning solid pine furniture, plywood, MDF, sawn timber, and sub-products such as mouldings, flooring, and doors. Under his leadership, the company has grown to serve importers, distributors, and wholesalers across 15 countries on five continents.
Rafael Reis
Manager
Rafael is the primary point of contact for international buyers sourcing wood products and furniture from Brazil. Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, he works directly with importers, distributors, and wholesalers across North America, South America, Europe, Oceania, and the Middle East — managing inquiries, product specifications, and shipment coordination from Porto Alegre. Rafael holds a degree from Unisinos and holds Cambridge ESOL C1 and EF SET C2 English certifications.
